Kaylene, that must be so frustrating to have put in all that work and then to miss out! I started Trick Training because I had a horse that was out of action for a while. The good news is that I found that the time we spent together learning tricks was really beneficial. Our communication really improved and it meant that when I could ride him again we had a much better relationship and I felt we were working MUCH better together. I hope the 'time-out' works out well for you and your horse.

My horse has just been diagnosed with a tendon injury, meaning that i would miss out on, not only a show, but the championships which we have worked so hard to qualify for. At first I was devistated but now i have found a new way to keep the two of us happy and sane! I am looking forward to doing some trick training in the time that he is on 24h stall rest.
